Boys Varsity B Season Preview
09 – 10 Schedule Highlights: The 2009-2010 Varsity “B” season opens in early December with a home game at the Eccleston Rink against league rival Pennington School. The Blues will attempt to avenge a season opening loss from one year ago. Games against Haverford School and Hun School round out the competition before the Christmas break.
In the New Year, the team will complete the IHL schedule while also facing off against traditions foes like Upland Country Day School and Canadian powerhouse Academie St Louis. St. Mark’s School in Wilmington, Delaware is a newly added opponent to this year’s schedule. Our only regular season match-up with arch-rival Lawrenceville School will take place at Lawrenceville on January 28. A smattering of games against strong club teams is included in the schedule. IHL playoffs begin February 15.
