Varsity B Midseason Update
The Varsity B Boy’s hockey team is still searching for its first victory of the season. Nonetheless, the boys are working very hard and remain positive in their outlook. Early season injuries prevented us from playing with a full squad until just recently, and we are hopeful that good things lie ahead this season. The team is certainly improvement and the coaches are very appreciative of the competitiveness of the players as individuals and as a team. There is still a reasonable possibility that the team will qualify for the IHL playoffs. The team has strong senior leadership in PJ Mara ’10 and Johnny Oberbeck ’10 and solid goaltending in Kevin Jung ’12 and Henry Rand ’11. Sam LaBranche ’11 leads the team in scoring and is also providing excellent leadership. The team is ready for the second half of the season and the push towards the playoffs.
